To obtain a Code 95 certificate, you must undergo a medical exam and take a psychotest. After completing the course, you will receive the plastic Code 95 certificate that can be inserted into your driving licence. The cost of a Code 95 certificate is similar to other types of driving courses. It is important to remember that the course must be held at a CBR-approved school for driving. The student must then go to the Road Traffic Safety Directorate and apply for a new license. The deadline for replacing the licence is six month from the date the course was completed. Options for training

Code 95 on a driver’s license indicates that you have completed the mandatory training to operate trucks or buses professionally. This is a condition you must meet every five years to renew your permit. The regular training is 35 hours of training and can be completed at a driving school or at home (e-learning). It is possible to spread the course over the five-year period. The course is usually paid for by your employer.

There are two types of instruction for Code 95: the long course and the short course. The long course is about four weeks in length and ends with a government exam. After passing the exam you will be issued an electronic card. The card must be entered into the database of unification European certificates. The institution you attended will submit it to database. The card will be processed in 14 days.

The cost of the long course is around 2 000 PLN. The examination costs 300 PLN. You’ll also need to pay a fee to the school to submit your certificate to the unified European database. Once the card is ready you can take it at the school.

To be able to offer a course of training that issue Code 95, you must adhere to certain guidelines as a trainer. First, you must submit a training program to the CBR. The training plan must be approved prior to the beginning of classes. You will also be required to follow other strict procedures throughout the course of training.

Once you have successfully completed the course, you will receive a certificate of periodic training from the CBR. You can then send this to the RDW. If the application is successful, you will be able to renew your license with the municipality. If you do not renew your license before the expiry date you won’t be able to drive professionally more than 12 hours a week. You’ll need to complete another course of instruction if you wish to drive more than 12 hours per week.

Exams

You must pass both the theoretical and practical tests to earn the code 95 on your license. These exams can be taken on their own, or in conjunction with the acquisition of a basic category licence at a driving academy. If you pass the exams, you’ll receive a certificate and code 95 card. The card is valid only for 5 years and must be renewed before the expiration date.

Based on the training program, you can take short or long courses to prepare for the code 95 exam. The long course is about four weeks and concludes with a government exam. In this exam, you are asked to answer 30 questions regarding the subjects you learned in your classes.

After passing the code 95 exam, you have to adhere to a minimum of 35 hours of regular training (nascholing) every five years. This can be done in the country where you live or work. The training sessions are conducted with an instructor. The CBR offers an online tool to locate a teacher. You will receive a certification from both your teacher and CBR once you have completed the course. The CBR will inform the RDW that you have completed your training.

A digital tachograph is also required for vehicles with a weight of more than 3,500 kilograms. The tachograph records the driving times and rest periods and saves them to a tachograph card. The largest driving license in Europe is the C-license. In the Netherlands, the requirement is that you pass the initial qualification for professional drivers at the Central Office for Motor Vehicle Driver Testing (Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheidsbewijzen, or CBR, in Dutch). You also need to pass a medical examination.

For passenger vehicles and buses you also need to have an driving license C or D. Bus drivers must pass both a written and oral test. They also need to have an official code85 that is a professional certificate.

Requirements

The purchase of a driving license with code 95 is an essential step for truck drivers who wish to work in the Netherlands. The new style of licences for buses and trucks was introduced in the year 2011.
